At the forefront of advancing health and science, the Department of Biochemistry, Nutrition, and Health Promotion explores the chemistry of life processes, food, and nutrition to foster a healthier, more vibrant population.

Our Programs
We offer three dynamic undergraduate majors: Biochemistry; Culinology; Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. With 16 unique concentrations, students have the opportunity to dive deep into areas that bridge health care, science, and the food industry, preparing them for impactful careers.

Our department also provides advanced academic opportunities, including: Master of Agriculture; Master of Public Health; Master of Science in Agricultural Life Sciences; Master of Science in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. Our doctoral programs include: Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion; Functional Food, Nutrition, and Health Promotion; Life Sciences; and Molecular Biology.

These programs are designed to cultivate leaders and innovators who are prepared to address global health and nutrition challenges.
